Martin Dowers Founder

Martin Dowers developed OE with the desire to fill an industry gap in the city. Focused on  serving up the quality of a spa-like visit for Toronto’s Distinguished Gentleman. Barbershops have always been a destination for social indulgence and OE brings that community and comradery back to the modern man’s grooming experience.

After 18 years as the leading barber in Trinidad and Tobago, Martin established his clientele in Toronto right here in Yorkville. He worked in the heart of Yorkville for 4 years nurturing close relationships with his clients and getting a deep understanding of what our clients have been missing with regards to a premiere male grooming destination.

Who we are:

Our team is passionate - we are a community that values superior client service. We pride ourselves on our detailed cuts, clean shaves, rejuvenating pedicures, restorative massages and seamless waxing.

What we do:

Old English Grooming Club offers a variety of services within the grooming family specifically tailored to serve Toronto's gentlemen. We are the only spot in the city to offer a male-centric environment where you can fade, cut, colour, trim and wax your hair. We also provide superior pedicures, manicures and massage therapy for our gentlemen. Grooming products including shampoos, conditioners, balms, styling products and scrubs are available for purchase.

Because no one else will. Our clients experience top tier service from our personal grooming consultants and we couldn't be more honoured to call them our friends. We are your ambassador for healthy, quality grooming services.
