Our Founder
Martin Dowers developed OE with the desire to fill an industry gap in the city. Focused on serving up the quality of a spa-like visit for Toronto’s Distinguished Gentleman. Barbershops have always been a destination for social indulgence and OE brings that community and comradery back to the modern man’s grooming experience.
After 18 years as the leading barber in Trinidad and Tobago, Martin established his clientele in Toronto right here in Yorkville. He worked in the heart of Yorkville for 4 years nurturing close relationships with his clients and getting a deep understanding of what our clients have been missing with regards to a premiere male grooming destination.
